Order naturally at a Korean café

Use a short sequence: greet, order, request an option, and confirm.

A useful beginner pattern is “아메리카노 한 잔 주세요” (One Americano, please). Add an option with “따뜻한 걸로 주세요” (I’ll have it hot) or “시럽은 빼 주세요” (Please leave out the syrup). The polite ending 주세요 makes a concise request without making the sentence complicated.

Listen for a follow-up such as “드시고 가세요?” (For here or to go?). You can answer “매장에서 마실게요” (I’ll have it here) or “포장해 주세요” (Please make it to go). Repeat the key choice if you need to confirm it. Menu wording and available options vary by café.
